Early Stabling Opportunities for the Syracuse Invitational
Because of stabling limitations at the Syracuse Invitational, we are unable to host your Maclay horses until Friday afternoon. The New York State Fairgrounds have offered to provide early stabling and schooling opportunities at the Fairgrounds, located approximately 5 miles from the Oncenter Complex, home of the Syracuse Invitational.
On behalf of the entire staff and management of the New York State Fair, welcome and thank you for visiting Syracuse and the New York State Fairgrounds. We are pleased to have you as our guests and hope to make your stay as convenient and enjoyable as possible. We want to remind you of the following instructions from the Syracuse Invitational Tournament organizers regarding load-in and access to the Oncenter Complex, as per the instructions outlined within the Prize List:
“Due to the limited unloading area of the stabling area, all horse transportation vehicles will need to first arrive at the New York State Fairgrounds for check-in. Upon arrival at the Fairgrounds, you will receive a numbered truck pass with driving directions to the horse show. On instruction from on-site staff, you will then proceed to the stable area at the Oncenter in downtown Syracuse. We do not anticipate a long wait time for your departure from the Fairgrounds. This system will allow us to keep the traffic pattern open in downtown Syracuse, and will allow us to have a streamlined unloading process upon your arrival in downtown Syracuse. There will be strict enforcement of this system. Any vehicles that arrive downtown without the proper numbered pass distributed from the check-in point will be directed back to the Fairgrounds. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS!!!”
