October 29, 2009 (Syracuse, NY) – The Pasmore Stables Horseman’s Cup began with 30 riders – 8 wanted another go in a jump-off -- only one would take the Cup. Gerco Schroder of the Netherlands wins the lead off event at Syracuse aboard Eurocommerce New Orleans in an exciting 8 rider jump off.
Mario Deslauriers of the United States riding Urico finished second with France’s Katie Prudent finishing third riding Sassicaia II. Keean White of Canada riding Celena Z finished fourth and Michael Whitaker of Great Britain fifth, riding Insul Tech Womani VD AARD.
The second round was a difficult round for most riders with refusals and miscommunications between riders and horses causing course problems. Only Schroder managed a clean final round ride in the jump off.
