Change in Horsemastership Training Schedule, Participant List

December 30, 2008 (Cazenovia, NY):  The dates on which McLain Ward and Beezie Madden will be presenting at the 2009 George Morris Horsemastership Training Session presented by Bates Saddles, January 5 – 9 at the South Grounds of the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center Grand Prix Ring in Wellington, Florida have changed. Ward and Madden will swap dates, with Madden now scheduled to present on Thursday, January 8 and Ward now scheduled for Friday, January 9.

Also, rider Shelby Wakeman has withdrawn from participation in the clinic and is replaced by the next rider on the 2008 Year-End Bates Equitation list, Carolyn Curcio of West Islip, New York.

A full revised schedule of sessions open to the public is below (changes noted in bold). There is no fee to audit, however a donation to the USET Foundation marked for show jumping high performance is appreciated.

Each fall, the Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament welcomes the top-ranked equestrians from across the US and the world to downtown Syracuse to compete at the War Memorial Arena in the Oncenter Complex. The event features a full slate of high-level competition, entertainment, shopping and exhibitions and runs October 28 to November 1, 2009. A 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, the Syracuse Invitational benefits Cornell University Equine Hospital and Vera House.
